Onions + Mushroom Quiche

Ingredients

  • Individual quiche, 4¼"
  • 3 oz. Crimini mushrooms
  • 3 oz. White onion
  • 2 oz. Shredded Gruyère
  • ½ c. Quiche batter
  • Salt + pepper
  • Vegetable oil

Preparation

  1. Slice the Crimini mushroom and the onion.
  2. Heat up the vegetable oil in two separate sauté pans, and start cooking the sliced onions and mushroom until they become a caramelized color.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cool down the vegetables.
  5. Assemble the quiche by adding to the pie shell in order: Mushrooms, onions, shredded Gruyère and cover with the quiche batter.
  6. Bake at 325°F until the custard is set.
